Definition Right to reuse research data – The right to copy and redistribute an output and to use it as part of new work, provided that the original source is referenced in line with good scientific practice. The reuse of research data refers to the utilisation of material complied by someone else for another purpose. When data is reused, the methods are often different from those used by the original researchers. Reuse is often also referred to with the term “secondary analysis”.
